Private domain registration

The service registers a private domain in its own name, so your details stay out of the public WHOIS record. You keep the use of the domain and can ask to transfer it out.

Check what each service asks at sign-up and how you pay. It holds the legal title to your domain, so you are trusting it with the name.

Order: what the tool asks of you (nothing, an account, ID), then open code before closed code, then A to Z. Affiliate links and sponsors never change it.
